first up i have dalton getty's pencil lead carvings. he makes very intricate, very precise little sculptures out of the lead of a pencil... without a magnifying glass!
i'm amazed by the detail. and the size of these little guys.

next i have, what i thought, a cool use of color. biochemist and photographer linden gledhill with dentsu london collaborated for the new canon pixma color printers. they placed droplets of paint on a thin black fabric and took photographs and videos of how it reacted to sound waves.
