malea's coming for a visit

the leaves are just beginning to think about changing their colors... the days are warm but the nights are oh-so-cool... the air seems crisper... its time for pumpkin flavored goodness and sweaters......

and my mother-in-law, malea is coming for a visit!

october is my favorite month of the year. period.

its fun to get the things out that you haven't seen in months, like your boots and your light fall coats, your blankets... but its still warm enough to entertain and be outside.

all you need is any mix of the following: a sweater, a throw blanket, a fire, a nice warm (spiced rum) drink and wine :)

and to top it all off: my mother-in-law, malea, is coming for a visit this weekend. the woman has some serious style. with her coming and the weather, it is a perfect excuse for some fall flavored treats and some quality time with the family spent outdoors.
